Cancel that bollocks about Lanzhou being in lockdown.

It's not.

I did question as to the source of the “news” and was informed they were personally known to the person telling me. They were trying to return to Lanzhou and couldn't because of road blocks.

Well, Wuhu Alice tells me it is yet another of those bloody internet rumours and the originator has quite rightly been arrested, hopefully to have in the Chinese way, fifteen days in the cooler to consider his/her error.

I do apologise for misleading people, my blog is and always has been about a truthful warts and all (within reason) relating of my life in China. The trouble is, when I search the internet for Lanzhou news I just get tourism stuff so I have to rely mostly on local people.

So no lockdown (yet) and it wouldn't affect me right now anyway as I wasn't intending to go anywhere. Except Burger King........
